Jo Burrows’s debut award-winning film ROOTS which she wrote, directed and produced has been screened internationally around the world in New York, London and Maharashtra to name a few. ROOTS was also showcased online within the top 10 entries for exceptional filmmaking, within Film Craft Lions category entry, at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2018. 

Her talent and artistry is influenced by her many years working within the international advertising photographic industry. She realised her passion for moving image after working in the editing department, for the critically acclaimed and Golden Globe winning film, My Week with Marilyn, starring Oscar winning actor Eddie Redmayne and Michelle Williams.

Jo is a multitalented woman who is a Director of Photography as well as a Director. She can channel her energy into either area and has created online content films for brands including, Avon, Next and Mulberry.
